According to the official website of the National Bureau of Statistics, in November, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 6.6% year-on-year (the growth rate of added value is the actual growth rate after deducting price factors). On a month-on-month basis, in November, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 0.87% over the previous month. From January to November, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.3 percent year-on-year.
In November, the added value of the mining industry increased by 3.9 percent year-on-year, the manufacturing industry increased by 6.7 percent, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 9.9 percent.
By economic type, in November, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 7.3 percent year-on-year, joint-stock enterprises increased by 7.2 percent, foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises with investment from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan increased by 4.4 percent, and private enterprises increased by 5.2 percent.
In terms of industries, in November, 28 of the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year increase in added value. Among them, the coal mining and washing industry increased by 5.2 percent, the oil and gas extraction industry increased by 1.8 percent, the agricultural and sideline food processing industry decreased by 0.5 percent, the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry increased by 4.8 percent, the textile industry increased by 2.1 percent, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 9.6 percent, the non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 0.6 percent, the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 5.1 percent, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 10.2 percent, and the general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 0.8 percent The manufacturing of special equipment increased by 1.9 percent, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 20.7 percent, the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 12.7 percent, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 10.2 percent, the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 10.6 percent, and the electricity and heat production and supply industry increased by 9.2 percent.
In terms of products, in November, the output of 367 products out of 620 products increased year-on-year. Among them, 110.44 million tons of steel, up 4.2 percent year-on-year, 189.79 million tons of cement, up 1.6 percent, 6.5 million tons of ten non-ferrous metals, up 7.1 percent, 2.69 million tons of ethylene, up 4.8 percent, 2.953 million automobiles, up 23.6 percent, including 1.006 million new energy vehicles, up 35.6 percent, power generation of 731 billion kilowatt hours, up 8.4 percent, and crude oil processing 59.53 million tons, up 0.2 percent.
In November, the sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.4 percent, up 0.5 percentage points year-on-year, and the export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 1,258 billion yuan, down 3.0 percent year-on-year.
