According to the website of the National Bureau of Statistics, in November, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 4,250.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.1%. Among them, the retail sales of consumer goods other than automobiles were 3,819.1 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6 percent.
From January to November, the total retail sales of consumer goods 427945 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%. Among them, the retail sales of consumer goods other than automobiles 384665 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3%.
In November, the retail sales of urban consumer goods reached 3,653 billion yuan, up 10.0 percent year-on-year, and the retail sales of rural consumer goods reached 597.5 billion yuan, up by 10.4 percent. From January to November, the retail sales of urban consumer goods 370419 100 million yuan, up 7.1 percent year-on-year, and the retail sales of rural consumer goods reached 5,752.6 billion yuan, up by 7.9 percent.
In terms of consumption type, in November, the retail sales of goods reached 3,692.5 billion yuan, up by 8.0 percent year-on-year, and the revenue from catering was 558 billion yuan, up by 25.8 percent. From January to November, the retail sales of goods reached 38,046.0 billion yuan, up 5.9 percent year-on-year, and the revenue of catering reached 4,748.5 billion yuan, up 19.4 percent.
From January to November, the retail sales of convenience stores, specialty stores, brand stores and department stores increased by 7.4 percent, 5.1 percent, 4.5 percent and 7.7 percent respectively year-on-year, while the retail sales of supermarkets decreased by 0.5 percent year-on-year.
From January to November, the national online retail sales 139571 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.0%. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods 117709 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3 percent, accounting for 27.5 percent of the total retail sales of consumer goods, and among the online retail sales of physical goods, food, clothing and consumer goods increased by 12.0 percent, 9.2 percent and 7.5 percent respectively.
