The meeting believed that in 2023, the mainland's industrial economy will show a rebounding trend. It is estimated that throughout the year, the industrial added value will increase by more than 4.3% year-on-year, and the proportion of the added value of the manufacturing industry in GDP will be basically stable, and the overall scale will remain the first in the world for 14 consecutive years.
According to the meeting, the pace of high-quality development of the key industrial chain of the mainland's manufacturing industry has accelerated, the construction of the manufacturing innovation system has been continuously strengthened, and the industrial structure has been further optimized and upgraded. From January to November, the added value of high-tech manufacturing above designated size increased by 2.3% year-on-year, and the added value of equipment manufacturing increased by 6.4% year-on-year. Exports of new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products grew rapidly, with exports of new energy vehicles reaching 1.091 million units. The international market share of the three major indicators of the shipbuilding industry continues to maintain a leading position in the world. It is expected that the total volume of telecommunications business will increase by about 16% year-on-year, and the revenue of software and information technology services will increase by about 13% year-on-year. As of November 2023, a total of 3.282 million 5G base stations have been built, doubling the number of gigabit broadband users compared to the same period last year.
