In order to implement the theme activity of the 8th National Myopia Prevention and Control Publicity and Education Month, Hohhot Aierxing Ophthalmology was invited to Xianxianlu Primary School in Saihan District to give two popular science lectures on vision health for students.
The 8th National Myopia Prevention and Control Publicity and Education Month was organized by the Ministry of Education, the National Health Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention in March.
On March 27th, Director Wang, director of optometry of Hohhot Aierxing Eye Clinic, and his party arrived as scheduled to conduct two health education lectures on myopia prevention and control for Pioneer Road Primary School, one is for the first to third grade to focus on the prevention of myopia. The other is a knowledge lecture for grades 4 to 6 to combine myopia prevention and myopia prevention and control, Director Wang shows the comparison of the world in the eyes of normal people and the world in the eyes of myopia in the form of pictures, so that students can understand the inconvenience caused by life and study after myopia, as well as the protection of eyes in daily study and life, strengthen outdoor activities, increase farsightedness reserves, and stay away from myopia.
A wonderful lecture allowed the junior students to understand the basic prevention methods of myopia, increase their understanding and cognition of myopia, and let the senior students deepen their understanding of myopia and the impact of myopia on life and learning, improve their awareness of myopia prevention and control, and better grasp the behavior habits of hurting their eyes in their daily study and life, laying a deeper foundation for developing better eye protection behaviors.
Last year, under the guidance of the Inner Mongolia Youth Development Foundation and the Youth League Committee of Saihan District, Aierxing Ophthalmology donated the "Hope Project • Campus Eye Care Hut" to Xianfeng Road Primary School in Saihan District to protect students' eye health.
Aierxing Ophthalmology is the first medical institution in our city to integrate ophthalmology and optometry, focusing on the prevention and control of adolescent myopia for many years, and making every effort for the prevention and control of the vision of adolescents and children in our city.
