On May 3, the 2024 Guiyang Confucius Academy National Tide Music Season opened.
This Guochao Music Season has set up activities such as folk customs experience, Hanfu dressing, and national style interpretation around "singing, listening, eating, living, traveling, learning, creating, shopping, and entertainment". In the national style market, all kinds of food, cultural and creative handicrafts, intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan production, and slate rubbing provide a gathering place for music fans and national style lovers to eat and shop.
As night fell, the music performance in front of the Confucius School Square kicked off, and 16 groups of musicians and bands were invited to bring a variety of music performances such as national style, folk music, and rock. The Guochao Music Season will last for three days, the Guofeng Bazaar is open all day, and the music performances start at 18:30 every day.
Ms. Chen, a music fan, told reporters that she has been fond of traditional culture since she was a child, and this is her first time participating in a national style music festival. The event invited Yinlin, Ye Xuanqing, and singers who everyone likes very much in the national style circle, as well as local bands in Guiyang, and the atmosphere is very good. According to Ma Mao, the director of the music season, the choice of musicians is to combine national style and rock to bring everyone a multi-level experience. This is the first time that Confucius School has held such a music event, hoping to pass on the culture covered by Confucius School to more young people.
