On May 31, the new M7 Ultra was officially launched, with a price range of 289,800-329,800 yuan, and deliveries began on June 2. The new car is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, with varying degrees of improvement in appearance and interior, as well as upgrades in terms of intelligent driving capabilities, driving experience and comfort features to enhance overall competitiveness. Officials expect to deliver 4,000 units in the first week of June, and 20,000 units are expected to be delivered in June.

At the press conference, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Device BG, and Chairman of the Intelligent Vehicle Solution BU, announced that the new M5 will exceed 20,000 units in one month and the M9 will exceed 90,000 units in five months. The new M7 is set to exceed 180,000 units in the 8th month since its launch.

The front of the new M7 Ultra is designed with an upper and lower grille, with a narrow grille on the top and headlight clusters on both sides, while the popular LED daytime running lights can be lit together with the brand logo, and the large inverted trapezoidal grille below also makes the front face look more visually impactful. In addition, the new car can be equipped with an optional closed front bumper.

On the side of the car, the new car is equipped with a side-view camera on the front fenders and adopts Huawei's ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5020*1945*1760mm, and the wheelbase is 2820mm. It is reported that the new M7 Ultra is available in 5 exterior colors and 3 interior colors. These include Ice Silver, Space Grey, Azure Blue and Gilded Black, with a new Interstellar Blue exterior colour scheme, with the interior colours of Shaohua Apricot and Amber Brown as standard, and a new Red Tea Orange interior as an option.

At the rear, the car has a continuous taillight shape, which is consistent with the current model. In terms of intelligent driving, Huawei's ADS 2.0 high-end intelligent driving system is adopted, and the 192-line LiDAR of the same model as the M9 is equipped with a more powerful perception ability. 

Inside, the new model is largely identical to the current model. The built-in full-LCD instrument cluster and the double-spoke multi-function steering wheel look full of technology. In the center console, there is a floating multimedia display, and two wireless charging panels for mobile phones are located underneath. At the same time, the new car is equipped with an electronic gear shift mechanism and a crystal shift knob.

In addition, the interior of the new car is painted in a red tea orange color scheme with a star ring scatterer that is the symbol of the family. The new car is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof that can be opened, a rear air conditioning control panel, and a boss seat button. In addition, when all seats are folded down, the interior space is almost flat, bringing more convenience and multi-purpose functions.

On the basis of the largest passenger space of 3338mm in the same class, the new M7 Ultra has newly upgraded Shuyun seats, which are softer, more supportive, and have better fit, and are equipped with Shuyun headrests to bring a more comfortable and ultimate riding experience. In terms of space flexibility, the front seats of the new M7 Ultra can be folded down and docked with the rear seat cushions, which can easily realize the new double beach chair mode, and can switch to the large flat mode, forming an extremely large space of 3m ×1.5m.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged range extender and a Huawei drive motor, and is available with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options. Among them, the maximum power of the range extender is 112 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the rear axle drive motor is 200 kilowatts; For the all-wheel drive model, a 130 kW drive motor is added to the front axle. The new car has a comprehensive range of 1,300 km under the CLTC working condition, a pure electric range of 240 km, a fuel consumption of 5.6 liters per 100 kilometers under the feeding mode, and an acceleration of 4.8 seconds per 100 kilometers for the four-wheel drive model. In addition, the new car has also upgraded the CDC continuously variable damping damper, which automatically adjusts the soft and hard suspension for different usage scenarios.
