On the morning of June 1, the theme activity of "Deep Protection, Shenzhen Beauty" 2024 to celebrate the "June 1st" International Children's Day was held in the Municipal Women and Children's Building. According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Women's Federation, since March this year, the Women's and Children's Building has gathered 34 senior aesthetic education teachers to lead 962 Shenzhen children to create, and through the children's observation, thinking and action, they have formed a work of art that freely expresses nature, life and art. During the art season, the Women's and Children's Building will also stage the balloon installation puppet show "Ha! Like a Dragon" and the interactive drama "Super Fluffy Sheep", the audience can get up close and personal with the characters.
The reporter learned that in order to strengthen the precise assistance of children and families in difficulty, the Municipal Women's Federation officially released 9 child care projects in 2024, namely the "Sunshine Growth" Comprehensive Guidance Project for Families of Suspended Teenagers, the "Sunshine Guardian" Violence Child Care Service Project, the "Guardian Little Angel" Child Psychological Assistance Program, the "Father Out Action" Fatherhood Education Growth Camp, the "Blue Bud Project" Child Safety Guardian Program, the Xinggang "Shenzhen" Integration Autism Youth Training Program, and the "Love Without Hindrance" Autism Family Social Integration Project, The Caring for the Growth of Domestic Workers' Children Program and the "Understanding Virginity" Children's Sex Education Program are committed to escorting the healthy growth of children.
At the event, Wu Xueling, a "good person in China" and the founder of Shenzhen Qingqing Speech Rehabilitation Service Center, took the stage as a representative of caring mothers, who is not only a mother of hearing-impaired children, but also a rehabilitation teacher for special children. Wu Xueling said in an interview with reporters that she is also very concerned about left-behind children. "Two days ago, I followed Lions from the Shenzhen Lions Club to visit left-behind children in the remote mountainous areas of Hunan. Seeing that these children often have to face the many difficulties they encounter in life alone, I have all kinds of feelings in my heart, and after I look back, I secretly decided to dedicate my love to more vulnerable groups, and when they need help, I will extend a helping hand in time to send warmth and care. At the event site, an inflatable art installation called "If Lion Rock is Really a Lion" is particularly eye-catching, which is a large-scale architectural toy work jointly created by the famous Hong Kong designer Gao Shaokang and Yuan Xincheng GROUNDWORK Architectural Firm in combination with space aesthetics, animation, music and other art forms. Accompanied by the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Children's Choir's "Under the Lion Rock", the "Lion Rock" in the Women's and Children's Building echoes the Lotus Mountain outside the window, implying the sense of identity and cohesion of the children of Shenzhen and Hong Kong as a new force to the motherland.
