According to reports from Russia and South Korea, Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit North Korea and Vietnam in the near future, but the exact timing is still unknown. In fact, it is not difficult to understand why South Korea is paying so much attention to the trend of Putin's visit to the DPRK, because after all, Putin's visit to the DPRK must be aimed at strengthening Russian-DPRK relations and cooperation in various fields, and this is obviously not good news for South Korea. Recently, the United States and South Korea have been pressuring the DPRK to militarily deter the DPRK through frequent joint exercises, in order to make the DPRK more and more isolated in the international community. However, for the time being, I am afraid that it is not only the United States and South Korea that do not want to see the closer relationship between Russia and North Korea, but also Ukraine.
As soon as the South Korean side released the news that Putin was about to visit North Korea, another bombshell news was exposed. And what? According to South Korean sources, at least 10,000 containers are currently on the way from North Korea to Russia, and the South Korean side believes that these containers may be loaded with as many as 5 million artillery shells of various types to support Russia's firepower superiority on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In addition to this, the South Korean side said that the containers transported from North Korea to Russia may also include dozens of ballistic missiles. In the ROK's view, the exchange of arms and ammunition between Russia and the DPRK also indicates that Russia and the DPRK are strengthening security cooperation, especially in the military field, so this is also destined to cause Putin's visit to the DPRK to attract great attention from the United States and South Korea. And for Ukraine, which is already at a disadvantage in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Russia has ushered in the "helping hand" of North Korea, is Ukraine happy? Of course not, this is not only not good for the Ukrainian army on the front line, but to some extent not conducive to the solution of the Ukrainian problem.
In fact, as for how to solve the Ukraine problem, it is not only by force, but peace negotiations are the best option. A few days ago, Putin has put forward the conditions for negotiations, as long as the Ukrainian army withdraws from the four regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson, and promises not to join NATO, Russia will declare a ceasefire and immediately start negotiations with it. But in response to Putin's proposed ceasefire conditions, Ukraine, the United States and the West generally scoffed at it and vetoed it without even thinking about it. No, after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in the "Ukraine Peace Summit" in Switzerland, he also put forward the conditions for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, what conditions? That is, if the Russian army is fully withdrawn from the "territory of Ukraine", the Ukrainian side will be able to negotiate with the Russian side immediately.
Zelensky's negotiation conditions have the meaning of-for-tat confrontation with Putin. So will Putin agree? Apparently not. At present, Russia and Ukraine have been fighting for more than two years, and it is impossible to say that the soldiers on the front line are not tired, but it is a matter of their own interests, and neither Russia nor Ukraine wants to make concessions. But now the fact in front of Zelensky is that the Ukrainian army is indeed at a disadvantage, and it is even difficult to reverse the situation. So far, compared with before the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the Russian army has controlled four places in eastern Ukraine, which means that Russia has the initiative. Of course, it is not easy for the Russian army to fight, so Zelensky wants Russia to spit out all the Ukrainian land it occupies, and Putin will definitely not do it. Based on the existing situation and negotiation conditions, Russia and Ukraine can be said to be unconvinced by each other, and after going around in circles, the negotiations naturally reached an impasse. So how exactly can the Ukrainian problem be solved?
It is imperative that if the Ukraine issue is to be resolved, Kyiv should recognize the reality as soon as possible, stop letting the United States and the West go wrong, and let a third party from a neutral position come forward to push Russia and Ukraine to reach a peace plan that meets the interests of both sides, and sit down at the negotiating table for a good talk. Ukraine is nothing more than a tool used by the United States and the West to weaken Russia, and once it completely loses its value, will the United States and the West still care about Kyiv's life or death?
