From June 23rd to 24th, an interview team led by Chen Guodong, chairman of the China Natural Resources Writers Association and former director and researcher of China Land and Resources News, arrived in Sunan County to carry out a series of literary creation activities on the ecological protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grasses in the Heihe River Basin of Qilian Mountains.
The interview team successively came to Bayi Village, Horseshoe Township, Sunan County, Xishui Forest Ecological Positioning Research Station of Qilian Mountain Water Conservation Forest Research Institute in Gansu Province, Yugu Customs Corridor in Sunan County, Yaoliugou Coal Mine, Jiuquan Mining Area and other places, and learned in detail about the ecological environment restoration and remediation, natural resource protection, development and utilization and sustainable development of Sunan County through on-site visits and listening to introductions. The interview team affirmed the efforts and achievements made by Sunan County.
It is understood that the interview team is composed of a number of senior writers and reporters, mainly conducting on-the-spot interviews on the ecological protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grasses in the Heihe River Basin of the Qilian Mountains.
