However, after moving in for a year, I realized that this is simply a place to hide dirt and dirt, and I have to wipe the dust almost every three days, otherwise it will be a layer of dust and look dirty.
Moreover, there were not a few bottles of wine, and all the miscellaneous things were put in, which looked messy, and it was not at all what I wanted.
If you want to make a wine cabinet, it is recommended to make one with a door, and if you want to be more beautiful, use a glass door, with a light strip, and the sense of luxury will be immediately full.
3. Skin-sensitive film cabinet door
When I chose the whole house customization, I was attracted by the sample of the skin film cabinet door at a glance, and I felt that the high-end was miserable, and it was very comfortable to touch.
However, I was still too naïve, and this material is typical of uselessness.
First of all, its surface is particularly easy to get finger prints, as well as all kinds of messy stains, the skin feeling film cabinet door in the kitchen is particularly obvious if it is slightly oily, and the more you wipe it with a wet rag, the dirtier it is.
The second is that it is easy to leave scratches, especially if there are children at home, it is even more of a headache, as soon as their little hands grab, the cabinet door is full of handprints, and the appearance is instantly lowered.
I suggest that the whole house custom cabinet door or use a glossy door, which is not only beautiful, but also more resistant to dirt.
4. Tiles on the wall
When it was first renovated, the family insisted on tiling the wall, saying that this would have that high-end atmosphere.
But after living in, the tiles on the wall make the home feel cold, especially in winter, I don't dare to face the wall at all, otherwise it feels simply crooked.
And when I returned to Nantian, the air humidity was high, the walls were full of small water droplets, and my hands were crackling and dripping, I don't know if I thought my family lived in a water curtain hole!
I think the home should still be warm and comfortable, just brush latex paint, the price is relatively low, and the effect is good-looking.
5. Projection screen
I wanted to create a home theater in the living room, so I chose a projection screen, but to be honest, I didn't use it much in the past year.
Because of busy work, how can I usually have so much time to sit down and watch movies, and when I get home, I basically play with my mobile phone and tablet, and basically I don't turn on the projection.
The most important thing is that the projection screen is particularly sensitive to light, and it is basically impossible to see it in broad daylight, and the picture is as bright as a whiteboard, and the details cannot be seen clearly.
If you want to buy it, it's better to buy a large-screen LCD TV honestly, it's more practical.
6. Living room ceiling light strip
When I first moved into my new home, I turned on the light strip on the ceiling of the living room every night, and the atmosphere was immediately there, but now it is rarely turned on, and most of them are finished with a main light.
Don't look at the thin strip of light, but the power is not small, and the electricity bill is a lot more every night.
Moreover, it didn't take long for the light strip I bought at home to have uneven light. Some of the lamps broke first, resulting in different levels of light, some places were dazzlingly bright, and some places were too dark to see.
If I had been given another chance to decorate, I might consider not installing ceiling light strips. A few downlights plus a main light are enough to meet the daily lighting needs, and it is more economical and practical.
7. Countertop basin
When making a sink in the kitchen, I didn't do my homework in advance, and installed a countertop basin full of slots.
My house has only been used for a year, and the places around the glass glue have begun to mold and blacken, and they are not clean, which affects the appearance.
Moreover, the edge of the basin on the countertop is raised to the table, and when the water is wiped, the sewage cannot be directly wiped into the basin, increasing the workload.
If it is an undercounter basin, the water and foam can be swept directly into the basin with a simple wipe, and it will be clean as soon as you flush it.
8. Roman rod curtains
Roman rod curtains are not only not smooth enough to pull, but they also have poor shading effects.
The main reason is that it is easy to "leak light", I sleep relatively lightly, sometimes in the morning, the sun comes in through the gap above the curtains, and I can't sleep lazily on weekends.
If you have high requirements for the sleeping environment, it is recommended to make a curtain box with slide curtains, so that it is not easy to leak light.
