The challenge for the project was to transform an external car park into an attractive and leisure-oriented green space.
Located next to the Gran Plaza 2 shopping mall, the renovated area will connect the inner garden with the exterior environment, featuring walking paths, restaurant terraces, playgrounds (including a pirate ship), a digital cinema façade, climbing structures, a large fountain for children to play in the summer, and carefully laid out vegetation...... All of these designs are integrated with each other, not only through architecture and landscape, but also lighting to be part of the experience.
Lighting plays a key role here, connecting the inside and outside of the building and enhancing the character of the different elements, while creating a magical and harmonious atmosphere.
Sometimes it's a fixed warm light that provides a calm and charming environment for walking; In other cases, it is digital lighting, which visualizes the activities taking place inside the building on the outside; There are also colored and digital lighting that makes the surroundings of the pirate ship ripple like the turquoise sea, or turn the game into red-hot lava. Choose the color of your light carefully, programmed to be smooth, slow, and timeless.
The lighting design is designed to provide a high level of visual comfort, control light pollution, and actively help the public play a role in guiding and identifying each building element.
As part of the project, the programming of the digital functions was tailored to each structure, matching their concept. In addition, the overall lighting is controlled in order to comply with the best environmental certifications. Also included in the project is emergency lighting, which is connected to a battery connected to the electrical circuit, which automatically turns on in the event of an evacuation, illuminating both sides of the exit passage with green light to ensure a safe evacuation.
All lighting fixtures have been carefully selected and blended in with the architecture and vegetation to be as hidden from view as possible, directing light where it is needed and ensuring that the public can enjoy the experience day and night.
