It is understood that the gas station is built by Xinjiang Dongkai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., the operation and management party of the photovoltaic base, and a third-party operating company, and is located at the entrance of the ring road of the photovoltaic base. There is a diesel skid with a storage capacity of about 40 tons, which can provide No. 0 and No. 35 diesel.
"It can ensure that the base uses oil for 3 or 4 days, and there is also a distribution tank, which can provide oil delivery services for enterprises." Zheng Xiaoming, the person in charge of the gas station, said that according to the demand for oil, the tanker truck circulates the oil supply, and provides services for the oil-using enterprises with quality, quantity, parity and speed.
Oil is an important guarantee for the construction of photovoltaic base projects, and skid-mounted gas stations are ground mobile gas stations integrating oil storage tanks and fuel dispensers. Different from fixed gas stations with long construction period and large area of buried oil tanks, skid-mounted gas stations have the advantages of small size, small land occupation and easy installation, and can be used for temporary refueling in emergency rescue and disaster relief or other special circumstances, and special engineering construction outside urban built-up areas.

The northern desert photovoltaic base in Midong District is located on the southern edge of the Gurbantunggut Desert, with a total area of about 1.03 million mu and a total planned installed capacity of 20 million kilowatts. At present, the transportation of sand and gravel and photovoltaic building materials required by large vehicles and construction machinery vehicles per day can reach thousands of units, and the nearest gas station is more than 150 kilometers round trip, the use of skid-mounted gas stations will effectively alleviate the problem of long distance from photovoltaic base vehicle refueling.
"In the early stage, in order to ensure the safety of oil consumption in the photovoltaic base, the Urumqi Emergency Management Bureau approved 7 temporary skid-mounted stations as needed, and one has been completed and put into use."
