Introduction
This morning (June 27), the "Wanli" project jointly built by three municipal state-owned enterprises held a brand conference and investment promotion kick-off meeting. As a landmark project of the cultural tourism industry in Beijing's sub-center, "Wanli" will integrate various formats such as outlet shopping, high-end hotels, and art spaces, and connect to three rail transit lines, effectively undertaking the overflow passenger flow benefits of Universal Studios, and helping the sub-center to upgrade consumption and high-quality development of cultural tourism, and is expected to open for operation in the second half of next year.
The "Wanli" project is located in Zhangjiawan Town, Tongzhou District, close to the Universal Studios theme park, covering the upper and outer areas of the Zhangjiawan depot of the subway, mainly including outlets, five-star hotels and other formats. Among them, the outlet project will be built into the largest outlet commercial complex in Beijing, combining art atmosphere and immersive experience with shopping for the first time. Cao Huijun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Wangfujing Outlet Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., said that the project as a whole will still take Ole's international and fashionable brand matrix as the core engine, and will integrate more and richer diversified experience projects. For example, a 5,000-square-meter art center has been built, which will regularly organize art exhibitions and art markets, as well as outdoor sports experience venues and children's entertainment projects, with the experience format accounting for more than 50%.
In terms of the hotel format, the five-star hotel brand "Nuolan" will build the first hotel in Beijing in "Wanli", introducing design elements and functional settings that echo Universal Studios to meet the needs of multi-scene consumption. Huo Yan, executive deputy manager of BTG Hotel Group, said that Nuolan Hotel is a five-star hotel with more than 320 rooms. The hotel is located in the sub-center and hopes to create an interactive relationship with the sub-center cultural tourism area and Universal Studios. The design of the whole hotel is very rich, for example, there is a very good art center in the hotel, which will hold a lot of events and promote some fashion and fashion products. Combined with the consumption of young people, an infinity pool is designed on the top floor, where you can see the sunset in the direction of the entire Universal Studios.

"Wanli" will be connected to the Batong Line, Line 7 and the planned S6 line of the subway to achieve convenient connection and transfer services. After the implementation of the project, it will effectively carry the passenger flow spillover effect of Universal Studios, help upgrade consumption, and create a new regional landmark. Zhou Luwei, assistant general manager of Beijing Huanhui Real Estate Co., Ltd., said that he hopes that "Wanli" will be a city-based micro-resort center and cultural tourism destination. After completion, the shuttle bus from the "Bay Lane" project and Universal Resort will be opened, and it will basically take less than 10 minutes to reach Universal Studios. It is hoped that after 8 p.m., a large number of Universal Studios guests will come out and carry out a new round of consumption and interaction in the "bay", forming a "three-day and two-night" tourism state for the entire Universal Resort, so that the consumption of Universal Resort can continue to stay in the sub-center of the city. The overall project will be completed by the end of 2024 and presented to the general public and consumers in the second half of 2025.
