Schneider and Navarro
In the quarterfinals of the women's singles at the 2024 WTA 500 Bad Homburg Lawn Open, Schneider played well and won two sets in a row to defeat former world No. 2 Badosa 6-3, 7-6(3) to advance to the women's singles semifinals.
Schneider will next face Navarro for a ticket to the final, who advanced due to an injury to Wozniacki when he led 4-6, 6-1, 1-0.
This will be the second time Schneider and Navarro have met in their careers, having previously met Schneider in two sets on clay this year.
Tomova and Vekic
In the quarterfinals of the women's singles at the 2024 WTA 500 Bad Homburg Lawn Open, Bulgarian qualifier Tomova overcame the disadvantage of dropping a set to defeat the Russian beauty Blinkova in a one-day double match 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (9) to advance to the semi-finals.
Next, Tomova will face Croatian beauty Vekic who advanced to the semi-finals without a fight due to the injury of defending champion Siniakova. This will be the first time in their careers that the two sides have met.

In the Bad Humboldt Women's Doubles quarterfinals, Zhang Shuai/Miwei Kato lost two sets in a row to defeat top seeds Merichal/Perez 3-6, 4-6 to stop the quarterfinals; Xu Yifan/Danilina won two straight sets to beat their opponents 7-6(4), 7-5 to advance to the semi-finals, and then Xu Yifan/Danilina will compete with Zhan Haoqing/Kudermetova for a ticket to the final.
