The system research and development is carried out around the functions of three-dimensional waterway scenes, information display of waterway elements, ship navigation assistance and auxiliary waterway maintenance. Through the processing of the basic element data of the waterway collected by the UAV oblique photography, 3D modeling, digital waterway and other information systems, the real-life three-dimensional waterway scene is constructed to visually display the underwater terrain conditions. By accessing the ship's GNSS data, the navigable area is automatically generated according to the ship's draft, and the most suitable route is recommended. The system also has the function of waterway scale verification, by setting the waterway width, water depth requirements, etc., automatically evaluate whether the current waterway navigation beacon setting is reasonable, and assist the waterway maintenance department to set the navigation standard layout.

By fusing the data of waterway depth, flow velocity, riverbed and topography on both banks, the physical model of waterway elements such as navigation beacons, riverbanks, waterway improvement buildings, cross-river buildings and navigational obstructions was established, and a three-dimensional virtual simulation waterway was constructed, which broke through the limitations of two-dimensional waterway map in spatial display and realized the three-dimensional display of the waterway in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

A navigation route based on the real-time status of ships and waterways was constructed to realize the safe navigation guidance of ships

By accessing the real-time location information of the ship's GNSS equipment, the system displays different water depth navigation areas in color according to the ship's draft, water level of the day, riverbed topography, reef and other obstacles and other factors, and automatically designs a safe, economical and efficient personalized navigation route to provide reference for ship navigation. The ship can change the observation position according to the usage habits and different scenarios by simulating the cockpit perspective, and assist in judging the navigation route, reducing the possibility of deviating from the route and ensuring the navigation safety of the ship.

The water level simulation and waterway scale automatic verification module have been developed to realize the intelligent maintenance and management of the waterway

According to the actual location of the navigation beacon and the external forecast maintenance scale, the system automatically checks whether the current navigation beacon setting is reasonable, and automatically warns when there is an abnormality.
