On June 25, the delegation of Shymkent City of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited and exchanged views on the thermal power project of harmless treatment of domestic waste in Baqiao District, Shaanxi Construction Seventh Construction Group. Yang Zhen, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, Li Lianyong, deputy secretary of the Baqiao District Party Committee, and Zhao Quanke, deputy secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the labor union of the group, accompanied the visit.

He said that Shaanxi Construction Group has accumulated successful practical experience in the harmlessness, reduction and recycling of municipal solid waste, and believes that the cooperation between the two sides in this field will achieve very satisfactory results, and is willing to make more positive and effective contributions to the urban construction and development of Shymkent City.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited the domestic waste harmless treatment thermal power project, inquired in detail about the project construction mode and equipment installation process, and fully affirmed the construction results and overall operation results of the group's domestic waste harmless treatment thermal power project.

Project Introduction
Baqiao District Domestic Waste Harmless Treatment Thermal Power Project is the first investment, construction and operation integrated low-carbon livelihood project of Qijian Group, with a total investment of 1.586 billion yuan, which was successfully integrated into the State Grid in November 2022 and successfully put into operation. The annual power generation capacity reaches 425.6 million kWh, which truly achieves the "harmless, reduced, and recycling" treatment of domestic waste, realizes the goal of "zero landfill" of waste in Xi'an, and implements the concept of green and high-quality development with the implementation of the project, helping to achieve the "double carbon" goal.
