In order to dig deep into bee resources and extend the industrial chain, the organizers also displayed a variety of "bee" products such as mead, royal jelly, and beauty tea, and also released the test results of bee honey in Maojian District and the electronic map of bee farm in Maojian District.
Tuo Wenfang, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Maojian District Agriculture and Rural Bureau, introduced the smart beekeeping system of Maojian District on the spot, which is composed of bee industry information, data statistics, bee farm list, smart beehive information, honey source distribution and analysis, bee science popularization and publicity, etc., which is an important carrier of Maojian bee breeding informatization and data. She said that in the next step, the bureau will further promote the high-quality development of the bee industry chain in Maojian District with the help of informatization and intelligence.
According to the staff, Maojian District is the hometown of multi-flower (Chinese bee) honey in China and has a long history of beekeeping. Up to now, there are 14,000 groups of bees in 26 villages in 6 townships and streets in the district, and more than 60,000 catties of honey will be produced in 2023. At the site of the honey harvesting festival, a honey interactive experience area was also set up to simultaneously carry out the exhibition of special agricultural products, carry out centralized sales of agricultural products in various villages, and mobilize all units in the jurisdiction to organize centralized subscription to help rural revitalization.
