Tsinghua students have always cherished the "Chinese dream", cared about the "local feelings", read the "sage books", and looked at "world affairs". Recently, 8 Ph.D. students from Tsinghua University went deep into various industries in Lizhou District to carry out a six-week social practice activity.

On June 27, 2024, Chen Chumiao, a fourth-year Ph.D. student from the Department of Philosophy of Tsinghua University, and Qiu Jiaxing, a second-year Ph.D. student from the School of Software of Tsinghua University, walked into the Dadong campus, visited the campus, and experienced the school's distinctive school-running characteristics, advanced teaching concepts, excellent school-running performance, and elegant campus culture.

Fanghua is waiting to be burned, and it is hard to cultivate. Chen Chumiao used vivid examples to start from the meaning of learning and lead to the diversity of the pursuit of happiness in life. The audience benefited greatly from detailed and effective learning methods such as time management, goal setting, habit formation, and mindset maintenance. She encouraged Dadong students: everyone has their own unique potential and talent, study hard, find their own rhythm, create more choices for themselves, and achieve a better future.

Qiu Jiaxing pointed out to the students with his own dream-chasing journey: independent learning, extensive learning, and the pursuit of excellence with a broad vision and a large pattern, and he will eventually have no regrets. Tsinghua students' humble character, broad and profound professional quality and positive and enterprising spirit have brought a baptism of growth to all teachers and students of Dadong. Subsequently, many Dadong students turned into "star chasers" and asked the two Tsinghua students for advice on topics of interest such as how to break through learning difficulties, how to tap learning interests, how to alleviate academic pressure, and how to carry out career planning. The two Tsinghua seniors are approachable and patiently answer questions. The Dadong Campus in June is warm and innocent.
