In developed Western countries, such professionals are highly sought-after, with stable career development and favourable remuneration in the public sector. But on the mainland, the work of public affairs administration is not as glamorous as the outside world thinks. Although it is theoretically possible for students of these majors to hold key positions in the government in the future, in practice, it is often difficult for them to find jobs that are a perfect match for their majors. This contradiction makes many students feel lost and helpless in the process of job hunting, as if the professional knowledge they have learned has become a "plausible" existence.
However, we also can't ignore the fact that agencies such as government agencies still recruit students for this major at some point. Although there are not many such opportunities, it is undoubtedly an opportunity to cherish for students who aspire to become excellent civil servants. Therefore, for students who choose this major, in addition to mastering professional knowledge, they also need to pay attention to national policies and changes in the job market in order to better grasp the opportunities.
Let's talk about history. Although it is not as intuitive and practical as other disciplines, the history, culture and humanistic spirit it carries are irreplaceable.
