By observing these changes, Rogers believes that a good counseling session is a process of continuous learning and growth, and changing personality. This includes making our perceptions less rigid, being more open to the unknown, and being more honest with ourselves. And these changes come from the fact that we feel accepted, understood, and seen in counseling.
