——Carry out the 2024 summer drowning prevention visit with Erjie Town Center School
With the arrival of summer, the temperature gradually rises, and drowning accidents have become a major hidden danger to the safety of primary and secondary school students. In order to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between the school and parents, and jointly build a safe line of defense for students to prevent drowning, on June 29, 2024, a drowning prevention visit was carried out with the central school of Erjie Town, with the participation of the leadership team of the central school, members of the secondary institutions and all teachers.
Before the home visit, the central school held a work arrangement meeting for the 2024 summer "Drowning Prevention Visit". At the meeting, Tu Wei, the principal of the central school, asked all teachers to pay attention to road traffic safety to ensure the smooth and safe home visit. Hu Min, secretary of the general party branch, emphasized that this summer visit should achieve full coverage of students in school, many of them for a lifetime, and not a single household.
During the home visit, Hu Min, Tu Wei and members of the central school team personally led the team to visit the home with the teachers in the Baobao class, communicate with the parents, publicize the safety education knowledge such as drowning prevention, understand the parents' opinions and suggestions on the school work, and seek the development of the school together with the parents.
Teachers and parents communicate face-to-face, so that parents can fully understand the importance of drowning prevention safety education, improve children's self-protection awareness and ability, and reduce the occurrence of drowning accidents. All the teachers distributed drowning prevention publicity materials to parents, explained in detail the dangers of drowning accidents, as well as the methods and measures to prevent drowning accidents, and kept in mind the "six noes, two sessions, and four knows". At the same time, teachers send care to every student, urge parents to implement guardianship responsibilities, let parents and students fully understand the importance of drowning prevention safety, and build a drowning prevention safety barrier for children.
Each teacher also conducted in-depth exchanges and communication with parents according to the different situations of each student, gave feedback to parents on their children's learning and specific performance in school, understood the learning and living conditions of students at home, exchanged educational concepts and methods with parents, and discussed measures and methods to promote the all-round development of students with parents.
At the same time, the teachers also asked parents to educate often, accompany more, know where to go, and supervise a series of safety education common sense, such as fire safety, traffic safety, infectious disease prevention and control, anti-fraud, campus bullying, mental health education, etc., as well as the importance of "one helmet and one belt".
Parents expressed their warm welcome and gratitude to the school for the home visits.
