In accordance with the relevant regulations, the deposit interest rate of the employee housing provident fund account shall be uniformly implemented according to the benchmark interest rate of one-year time deposit. The interest settlement date of the provident fund is June 30 of each year, and the interest calculation period of this year is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and the annual interest settlement interest rate is implemented at the benchmark interest rate of 1.5% for one-year time deposits. The interest accrued shall be incorporated into the principal of the employee's personal provident fund account.
According to the notice of the Housing Provident Fund Management Center of Fujian Provincial Units, the business will be suspended during the annual interest settlement period of the provident fund.
The details of the notice are as follows
- On June 30 (Sunday), the provident fund business handling services of all external channels will be suspended, including business handling, inquiry and related services of integrated service platforms such as counters, online halls, Min Zhengtong, WeChat, and self-service terminals.
- On June 30 (Sunday), the deduction time for provident fund loans will be adjusted to 8:30 a.m., and loan employees are requested to keep enough of the current deduction amount in advance to avoid affecting personal credit reporting.
- On July 1 (Monday), the inquiry function will be opened at 0:00, and the normal handling of all business will be resumed at 6:00.
