In order to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 28, Pingliang Road Street, together with Badaitou Painting and Calligraphy Institute and Everbright Anshi Center, held the 10th "Breeze and Lotus Rhyme" Integrity Sketch Fan Exhibition, aiming to convey the concept of clean government, create a clean political ecology and a fair and just social environment through calligraphy and painting works with the significance of clean government education.
The lotus flower is a symbol of honesty and integrity. The 10th "Breeze and Lotus Rhyme" Integrity Sketch Fan Exhibition of Pingliang Road Street focuses on integrity education, and invites more than 50 calligraphers and calligraphy and painting enthusiasts to create nearly 100 calligraphy, fans and cartoons, each of which has its own unique artistic charm.
Mr. Gu Benjian, the president of the Badaitou Painting and Calligraphy Institute, has a calligraphy work in regular script, just two sentences "honesty will last for a hundred years, and greed will leave a stench for thousands of years", which conveys the meaning of leading by example to the fullest. Gu Benjian said that this calligraphy work is not only a display of calligraphy techniques, but also a warning to people.
Calligraphy works convey power through words, while comic works use meaning to warn everyone. In a comic work called "Beware of the Temptation Trap of Money", the manhole cover symbolizes the attraction and allure of money. Xiao Zhang, who works in an institution, was deeply touched by this work, and he said that he often encounters various temptations in his daily work, and prudence is the important way to survive.
It is understood that the "Breeze and Lotus Rhyme" calligraphy and painting exhibition, as a "cultural business card" of Pingliang, has gone through ten years. The calligraphy and painting works on display not only show the artists' deep understanding of the culture of integrity, but also promote the clean and healthy atmosphere and cultivate the new style of the times in the form of traditional Chinese art.
The exhibition is located in the Everbright Anshi Center, and the exhibition time is from 10:00 to 16:30 from June 28 to August 8.
