Welcome to today's MOC Reward!
Toy-like Tower
While LEGO player Pan Noda has only been involved in original LEGO MOC creations for just a few years, he has quickly become one of the most surprising MOC architects, with his work featuring a sense of texture, pattern, and verticality. His latest creation, titled "Brick Castle", is a brilliant model between the earth and the sky, childhood and maturity.
The red sloping roof has a retro feel that may evoke nostalgia for the earliest LEGO buildings, but they are old and the nails on the walls have fallen off. The red door is inspired by the LEGO 77049 Shih Tzu Hui, welcome to my official set, and the clouds are reminiscent of Nintendo. In stark contrast, the more regular brown frame seems to say to us, "Don't touch it!" Once again, the author shows us the greatness of LEGO art.
Massive Spaceship
Jean-Philippe Leroux, a LEGO player from Canada, designed and built a huge LEGO spaceship and gave it an impressive name - The Empress, the whole model is made up of more than 24,000 parts and weighs 43 pounds, which is quite a heavy work~
If you're a fan of sci-fi gadgets, the Empress ship is sure to be a great fit for you! Let's take a look at the little easter eggs in the engine from the back, and we can find the minifigure skis, skis, and saws, and the old 1×8 stick parts behind the robotic arm. At the same time, at the very front of the engine there are robotic binoculars and zipline handles. And that's just the engine, but there's a lot more to it than that, but what did you find? Let us know in the comments section!
Chinese Lake
Following the LEGO IDEAS work "Crescent Moon Rock Sculpture", MOC player Nannan Zhang from China created this "Park of the Past" MOC work based on her childhood memories of growing up in China in the 90s. Although this is not a recreation of a particular park, traditional architecture, weeping willows, lotus flowers, ponds, and swan boats all make the author's memories so tangible and palpable. If you go to see this year's Brickworld Chicago show, you can also see it in person.
The Hexagonal Pavilion is a place for old residents to share snacks and make small talk, and it is a very common building type in its own right. The gold ball on the top plays a clever decorative effect, and the heart-shaped light panels on the eaves are also a detail that cannot be missed. However, my favorite design is the curved beveled tiles at the base of the balustrade, which are neatly embedded under the arches, adding some texture to the stone carvings.
In addition, the marshmallow machine instantly brings the editor back to his childhood, and it is very recognizable. Then, we turned our gaze to the water, where the little lotus showed its sharp corners, and the lotus flowers and leaves hung on the long stems, distinguishing them from the lilies. However, the main attraction is the swan boats, which can be electrically walked!
