On the occasion of the hot summer vacation, on June 26, Zhaodian Primary School in Huahua Town, Yingdong District, Fuyang City, held a speech contest with the theme of "Drowning Prevention and Safe Summer" in the playground behind the school. The purpose of this activity is to improve students' awareness of drowning prevention and self-rescue ability, so that students can spend a safe and happy summer vacation.
Students from Years 1 to Year 6 were selected for the finals of the school, and were divided into senior and senior groups.
The speeches of the participating students were full of passion and informative, covering many topics such as "Swimming Boundless Safety First", "Water Companion Safety First", "Don't Throw Your Life in the Water" and so on. One of the junior contestants told the "Little Sailor's Summer Safety Book" in a young but firm voice, which vividly and interestingly conveyed the important knowledge of drowning prevention, which impressed everyone. A student from the senior group gave a passionate speech on "Cherish Life and Prevent Drowning", which deeply analyzed the hazards of drowning and the key to prevention, which won bursts of applause from teachers and students in the school.
After fierce competition, the first, second and third prizes were finally selected, and honorary certificates were awarded.
This speech contest not only improved the students' understanding of drowning prevention, but also deeply rooted the safety awareness in the hearts of the students. I believe that through this activity, students can better protect themselves in the upcoming summer vacation, spend the summer safely, and let the flower of life bloom more brilliantly under the protection of safety.
