Last week's two WTA 500 grass-court events decided the winners, making a difference in the rankings this week.
Kasatkina: Won the WTA 500 Eastbourne grass title, ending the embarrassment of five consecutive defeats in the championship match since 2022. The 27-year-old Russian fierce woman won the runner-up in Eastbourne + the quarterfinals at Wimbledon last year. She moved up two places from No.14 to No.12.
Schneider: The 20-year-old Russian chubby girl made her career debut at Wimbledon last year and lost to British wildcard AB. Bad Homburg was only her fourth grass court, but Schneider put in a strong performance to beat former champions Kerber + Badosa + Vekic to win the title. Schneider's powerful left hand opens up her prospects on grass. Schneider moved up 17 places from No.47 to a new high: No.30.
Wozniacki: Ending a four-game losing streak, Eastbourne upset Svitolina in the first round, her first Top 30 win of the year and a quarter-final finish. Vekic (+12, from No.49 to No.37): Croatian beauty proved once again that she is a serious contender on grass, reaching the Bad Homburg title match, bringing five of her 13 career title matches to grass.
Raducanu (+33, from No.168 to No.135): The former US Open champion finally regained his touch + confidence on grass. In the second round of Eastbourne, Raducanu saved 1 match point, upset the No. 2 Pegula in the tournament, and won his first victory against the Top 10.
