Maxi is a young star who has proven himself to be an important part of the team's present and future. This season was the best of his career, averaging 25.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from three-point range.
The Bulls signed Jalen Smith for three years and $27 million
Free agent center Jalen Smith will join the Bulls on a three-year, $27 million contract, sources told ESPN's Wojnarowski.
Smith was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 10th pick in the 2020 draft and was sent to the Indiana Pacers before the 2022 trade deadline. He played in 61 games with the Pacers this season, averaging 9.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 59.2 percent from the field and 42.4 percent from three-point range.
The Detroit Pistons signed Tobias Harris for two years and $52 million
After six seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, Tobias Harris will sign a two-year, $52 million contract with the Pistons, according to ESPN's Wojnarowski.
Harris had a strong season with the 76ers, starting 70 games for the 76ers, averaging 17.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the field.
The Thunder signed Isaiah Joe for four years and 48 million
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Thunder have signed swingman Isaiah Joe to a new four-year, $48 million contract.
Joe spent the past two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder after being cut by the 76ers in 2022. During that time, he has become one of the Thunder's most reliable shooters on the bench, averaging 8.8 points per game.
The Thunder signed Isaiah Hartenstein for three years and $87 million
Free agent center Isaiah Hartenstein and the Thunder have agreed to a three-year, $87 million contract, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Hartenstein began his NBA career with the Houston Rockets in 2018 and has spent the past two seasons with the New York Knicks as Mitchell Robinson's backup.
Hartenstein played in 75 regular-season games for the Knicks last season, starting 49 of them, averaging 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks in 25.3 minutes per game while shooting 64.4 percent from the field.
The Thunder signed Wiggins for five years and $47 million
Sources told Wojnarowski, the athletic's Athletic, that the Thunder will sign Aaron Wiggins to a five-year, $47 million contract.
Wiggins, the 39th player on the top 50 free agents this summer, played in 78 games for the Thunder last season, started four games, averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 15.7 minutes per game, shooting 56.2 percent from the field, 49.2 percent from three-point range and 78.9 percent from the free throw line, helping the Thunder finish first in the West.
