On June 30, a panda-themed cruise ship "Jiaomen" made a grand debut at Nansha Passenger Port, starting its first trial voyage.
The hull of this ship cleverly integrates unique elements such as pandas, Mazu culture, and Nansha archway, highlighting the unique cultural charm and marine style of Nansha.
Starting from Nansha Passenger Port, tourists visited Longxue Island Shipbuilding Base, one of the three major shipbuilding bases in the country, and looked at two world-class industrial symbols across the sea - the world-class hub port area of Guangzhou Port Nansha Port Area, and the world-class "bridge, island, tunnel, and underwater interconnection" cross-sea cluster project Shenzhong Channel.
The route also passes through the cruise home port, Nansha Tianhou Temple, Sampan Island and so on, and the return journey passes through Nansha 21 Chung National Comprehensive Stadium, Longxue South Waterway, Xinlong Bridge, Kaizhou Bridge, and finally returns to Nansha Passenger Port.
On the day of the trial voyage, tourists boarded the ship one after another. In the cabin, there is laughter and laughter, many tourists are on board the boat to play, adults are chatting leisurely, and children are curious to explore every corner of the ship. Outside the cabin, many tourists also gather on the deck, eager to enjoy the scenery on the sea.
The sea breeze blows, the waves lap on the hull of the boat, and as the cruise ship slowly sails away from the port, the spectacular scene of the Nansha port area gradually comes into view. Towering cranes, huge containers, and cargo ships come and go, making for a busy and orderly picture. Tourists took out their mobile phones and cameras to record this rare sight.
As the main port area of Guangzhou Port, the fifth largest port in the world, Nansha Port ranks second in the country in terms of container throughput in a single port area. It is the world's first fully automated terminal for river, sea and rail multimodal transport, and the first newly built automatic terminal in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Tourists face each other across the sea to experience the busy shipping scene of Nansha Port and appreciate its important status as a world-class hub port area.
One of the highlights of this sea trial is undoubtedly a close visit to the world-class cross-sea cluster project officially opened to traffic on the same day - the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor. As the most critical "horizontal" of the "A" shaped traffic main skeleton of the Pearl River Estuary, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor integrates "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater hubs", and is one of the most difficult cross-sea cluster projects in the world. Nansha through the Nanzhong Expressway Wanqingsha branch line, to achieve direct connection to the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan will be through Nansha in the Lingding Ocean "hand in hand".
Mr. Zhang, a tourist, told reporters excitedly: "Standing on the deck, it is really shocking to see the Shenzhong Passage like a giant dragon lying on the sea. I've only heard about it on the news before, I didn't expect to see it in person today, and I'm really lucky. ”
In addition to the two world-class industrial symbols, tourists also overlooked other attractions in Nansha from the sea, such as the Nansha International Cruise Home Port, one of the largest cruise home port complexes in the country, the Nansha Tianhou Temple, which is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the century-old Sampan Island that witnessed the prosperity of the Maritime Silk Road. While enjoying the beautiful scenery of the ocean, I also had an in-depth understanding of the cultural heritage of Nansha.
