Since June, 76 reservoirs in the city have overflowed, affected by local heavy rainfall and water from the upstream resource counties of Fuyi Shui, a tributary of Zishui, and some small and medium-sized rivers in Xinshao County, Shaoyang County, Xinning County, Suining County and other areas have seen varying degrees of water level increases.
According to the current water situation, flood situation and meteorological analysis, the city quickly issued a reservoir dispatching order to the Dazhen Dongfeng Reservoir and the Longmuping Reservoir at the entrance of the cave, and implemented the staggered peak of the flood in advance, including the implementation of the full-time and whole-process dispatching supervision of the Longmuping Reservoir flood gate, and the upstream flood was impounded and stored within 20 hours, and the flood peak was reduced by about 200 flows. At 22 o'clock on June 24, the Dazhen Reservoir opened the flood gate to discharge the flood, and in order to alleviate the downstream flood support, the flood discharge flow of the reservoir was controlled within 60 seconds cubic meters, which greatly reduced the upstream flood peak; At 6 o'clock on June 30, the flood detention peak of the Papaya Mountain Reservoir was delayed by 5 hours, and the flood discharge was effectively eliminated from superimposing with the downstream Xiyang River flood; From June 29th to 30th, the Liuduzhai Reservoir stopped 220 flood peaks and cut 220 peak flows, and the peak water volume of flood detention was 23.5 million cubic meters, which greatly reduced the losses suffered by the downstream of the reservoir due to flooding.
