On July 2, our county carried out the 2024 county-wide comprehensive emergency drill for flood control and typhoon prevention, and comprehensively tested the county's flood and typhoon emergency response capabilities. The drill simulated the impact of heavy rainstorms, which led to a sharp rise in river water, frequent waterlogging, reservoirs and rivers exceeding the warning water level, urban waterlogging, road inundation, landslides, power supply facilities and other dangerous situations in many places. Six subjects are set up, including rain disaster monitoring, search and rescue of people trapped in floods, landslides at disaster sites, drainage of underground parking lots, emergency response to water leakage in power distribution rooms, mass transfer and resettlement, and material allocation. During the exercise, by simulating the real disaster situation, all member units strictly abided by the instructions and requirements of the county flood control and drought relief headquarters, acted quickly, cooperated closely, completed all the drill tasks with high quality and efficiency, improved the ability of departmental cooperation, and achieved the expected purpose of the drill.
