"Smart" tunnel lighting system
The Shenzhong Corridor has the world's longest and widest submarine steel-shell concrete tunnel, with a total length of 6.8 kilometers. To ensure driving safety in such a long undersea tunnel, of course, it is inseparable from the "black technology" in the tunnel, the intelligent lighting system.
The lighting intelligent controller in the tunnel can automatically control and adjust the brightness of the light according to the detected light inside and outside the tunnel, color temperature data, traffic volume changes, day and night, etc.
At the same time, on both sides of the tunnel tunnel, the intelligently adjustable full-color landscape light strip is also constantly changing color. It can change the color of the light according to the ambient temperature and traffic flow conditions, or display different light colors in segments to reduce the monotony during driving.

Wind-resistant "glass wall"
CCTV reporter Cao Dan: In the center of the deck of the Shenzhong Bridge, there is a hidden glass wall. It looks like ordinary tempered glass, but they are the "secret weapon" of the Shenzhong Bridge to resist the wind.
Chen Huanyong, Deputy Director of the Chief Engineer Office of the Shenzhong Channel Management Center: This is our central stabilizer plate, and the main purpose is to improve the stability of the Shenzhong Bridge against wind. Hinders the development of vortices under the action of strong winds, thereby increasing the stability of flutter.
The bridge deck of Shenzhong Bridge is as high as 91 meters, which is currently the world's largest span and the highest bridge deck of the all-offshore suspension bridge, and is located in the Lingdingyang sea area where strong typhoons frequently occur, so it has particularly high requirements for wind stability. In order to solve this problem, the construction personnel jointly conducted parallel research with four universities in China, and after more than 300 sets of aerodynamic shape design and wind tunnel tests, the main beam of the bridge was optimized to adopt the comprehensive pneumatic measures of "horizontal deflector plate + upper central stabilizer plate + high air permeability railing" to minimize the risk of flutter and vortex vibration of the bridge.

Build the world's best on the sea
The steel consumption of the steel structure of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is about 85,000 tons, which is equivalent to the steel consumption of the "Bird's Nest" of the two national stadiums. To pull such a heavy bridge, a more tensile main cable is required.
The main cable has a diameter of 1.06 meters and is composed of more than 25,000 steel wires with a diameter of 6 mm, the strength of the steel wire is 2,060 megapascals, each small steel wire is enough to lift three family cars, and the total cable force of the two main cables is nearly 300,000 tons.
On either side of the two tall main towers, there are two huge anchor blocks in the shape of diamonds, which are the most important stress structures of the long-span suspension bridge.
However, there is little experience in the world to build giant anchorage structures in the sea with a thick silt layer and complex geology.
The single anchorage of the Shenzhong Bridge weighs about 1 million tons, and the area is equivalent to 17 international standard basketball courts, which is currently the anchorage in the sea in the world.
It is like two big "scales", using its own weight to "press" the weight of the entire bridge and all the vehicles driving on the bridge in the future.
The real core technology is something that you can't get if you don't want it
The difficulty of the construction of the Shenzhong Passage is world-class, and we are also lonely when overcoming difficulties and blockages.
