Under the continuous tightening of the national electric three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicle rectification, sales merchants and user groups in various regions have been greatly affected.
In particular, the management and rectification of non-standard electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles in some areas is extremely targeted, and it is really in a high-intensity state of strict investigation and strict management. But in fact, the relevant departments in many places not only strictly inspect non-standard electric three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, but also maintain a high rectification intensity for compliant and legal electric three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.
Recently, many places have also imposed penalties on many licensed vehicles when rectifying electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles, and the amount of fines is not low. Many users feel very puzzled, why electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles are still fined after being licensed, and today I will talk about it.
In fact, there are three things that must be done in addition to licensing electric three- and four-wheelers.
1. You must have a driver's license that matches the vehicle
At present, if electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles want to legally drive on the road, in addition to having a license, a driver's license is also an indispensable condition. According to the regulations, you need to have a D driver's license to drive an electric tricycle, an E driver's license to drive an electric motorcycle, and an F driver's license to drive a moped.
Driving a low-speed four-wheeled vehicle is subject to local policies, some require a C1 license, and some can use a D license.
Some time ago, a user with a C1 license drove an electric four-wheeled vehicle on the road, and as a result, he was deducted 9 points and fined as a result. This actually illustrates a problem, that is, the positioning of electric four-wheeled vehicles and new energy vehicles is different in many places.
Because electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles are recognized as motor vehicle attributes, regular electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles must have a driver's license on the road.
2. Corresponding insurance must be purchased
It is also because electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles are recognized as motor vehicle attributes, so insurance has become a rigid condition for regular vehicles on the road.
At present, many places have taken insurance as a necessary condition for the licensing of electric tricycles, and insurance must be required when the license is issued. The specific price and type of insurance purchased in each region shall be subject to the actual local situation, after all, the economic situation and actual price of each region are not uniform.
However, insurance has become one of the just conditions for electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles on the road, and they must be legally licensed on the road.
3. There must be no obvious modification and installation problems
As we all know, many users will make some modifications to electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles, especially electric tricycles in the open air, and there are many situations where a canopy or seat is installed in the back.
At present, the modification, assembly and installation of electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles are the key objects of strict investigation. Generally, not only will there be a fine if it is found, but there will also be a problem of forced demolition.
In addition to the license, these situations in the road inspection, if encountered, found, will be fined, it is recommended that the majority of users pay close attention.
