Wang Henei (1912-2000), formerly known as Renee Yunne-nikel, was a French-Chinese female sculptor. He studied sculpture in France and later became a professor in the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. She became a Chinese citizen in 1955 and taught at Peking Normal University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and her works have been exhibited many times and collected by the National Art Museum of China, demonstrating her profound sculptural attainments and contributions to Chinese art. The couple donated all the materials, including the works, to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, which decided to cast all the works in bronze and then donate them to the National Art Museum of China for collection.
