On July 7th, ASUS shocked the release of the ExpertCenter PN43 mini PC, reshaping the new desktop computing experience with extreme compactness.
ASUS says that this new product not only achieves an unprecedented breakthrough in terms of volume, but its front size is only half the size of a smartphone, which perfectly illustrates the perfect combination of compact aesthetics and efficient use of space.
The ExpertCenter PN43 impresses with its compact design, with an overall size of 166.2 x 119.7 x 33.9 mm and a weight of approx. 0.7 kg.
In order to meet the preferences and needs of different users, ASUS has come to offer two options: Active Cooling and Fanless Silent. The former, with its powerful fan system, injects surging power into high-performance tasks; The latter creates a noise-free working environment, ideal for users who are looking for a quiet experience or in specific silent scenarios. What's more, the mini PC supports VESA wall mounting, which further broadens the application scenarios and makes the deployment more flexible.
In terms of performance configuration, the ExpertCenter PN43 should not be underestimated. It is powered by the latest Intel N97/N100/N200 processors, which are based on the advanced Alder Lake-N architecture and use Intel 7 process technology, all equipped with 4 cores and 4 threads to ensure efficient and smooth multitasking.
In terms of memory, it supports a single SO-DIMM slot, which can be upgraded to up to 32GB DDR4 memory to meet the needs of high-capacity data processing. In terms of storage, it is equipped with a high-speed M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, which easily supports NVMe SSDs from 128GB to 2TB, so that data can be read and written at lightning speeds. In terms of network connection, whether it is Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.2, or higher-spec Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, all of them are all available to ensure that the network connection is fast and stable.
In terms of interfaces, the ExpertCenter PN43 also shows a high degree of practicality and flexibility. The front panel is generously equipped with four USB 3.2 Type-A ports (with speeds of up to 10Gbps), as well as headphone and microphone jacks for quick access to a wide range of peripherals.
On the back, in addition to three USB 2.0 ports (suspected to be a clerical error, it should be USB 3.2 or higher to match the advanced front port), DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI ports, and dual 2.5 Gbps high-speed Ethernet ports, there is also a configurable interface, which allows users to achieve up to three displays or drive two 4K displays at the same time, greatly improving work efficiency and visual experience.
