The message is clear and positive – from a technical and economic point of view, it is possible to provide people with renewable electricity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The required technology is already available on the market, and the price is becoming more and more affordable.
Almost all key players from the energy industry have come to participate in the energy transition. This year, the conference has a special focus on smarter solar PV, the digitalization and flexibility of energy infrastructure, the growth of the global market for renewable energy, and the boom in battery energy storage systems.
"Once again, we have broken the record for the number of exhibitors and visitors, which is a clear indication that the energy transition has gained momentum in recent years and that it is still continuing. This year, we are on site to see that the vision of a round-the-clock supply of renewable energy is becoming a reality. Exhibitors and visitors are spreading this message around the world, continuing to drive the energy transition in their respective countries. Markus Elsässer, CEO of Solar Promotion GmbH, the organiser of the trade fair.
The next edition of Intersolar Europe is scheduled for May 7-9, 2025, and will continue to be held in Munich, Germany, in conjunction with the three energy-related trade fairs.
