In order to further enrich the summer life of young people in the jurisdiction, advocate them to actively inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, absorb and continue cultural genes from it, and enhance cultural self-confidence. Recently, Sensen Community, West Street, Hailing City, Taizhou, carried out a colorful summer theme activity of "Exploring Canal Culture, Youth Building Dreams", and organized 30 teenagers and their parents to visit the China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou.
Accompanied by community staff, the teenagers entered the Grand Canal Museum in an orderly manner and deepened their understanding of the history of the canal by viewing various cultural relics such as canal-themed inscriptions, ceramics, and metalware. In the interactive experience area, 5D technology allows them to immerse themselves in the cities and scenery of the Grand Canal, helping young people to understand the development history of the Grand Canal from multiple perspectives. The exhibition hall displays models of ships of different designs and uses, and everyone can walk into the inner structure and ingenious design of ancient ships, and learn about the structural evolution of canal ships. Walking through one exhibition hall after another, the children seemed to travel through time and space, immersed in the long river of Chinese history, and fully experienced the cultural heritage of the canal and its important role in economic and social development.
"Today we visited the exhibition halls with different themes, learned about different aspects of the Grand Canal, and deeply understood the wisdom and perseverance of the ancient people." Shuai Mengfan said excitedly.
With a new form of cultural exploration, this activity added a touch of brilliant color to the children's summer vacation life, and also injected new vitality into the inheritance and promotion of the millennium canal culture. In the next step, Sensen community will closely follow the actual needs and carry out various forms of cultural activities, educate and guide the majority of young people to fully understand the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and cultivate their cultural self-confidence and national pride.
