Hu Jianwei is the deputy chief physician of the Endoscopy Center of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University. In July 2023, he took the initiative to sign up to be one of the ninth batch of medical talent "group" experts to aid Tibet and came to work at Shigatse People's Hospital. Soon after entering Tibet, Hu Jianwei, based on his own experience, not only set out to create a new endoscopic technique suitable for the actual local situation - endoscopic ultrasound, but also did a good job in the work of "passing on and helping Tibet's local medical endoscopy talents" through the form of mentoring and apprenticeship.

Zhang Wu, Duan Yingqian, and Pan Yaru, these three young doctors are Dr. Hu's "apprentices". Hu Jianwei's arrival opened the door to a wider world of medicine for them. In addition to medical exchanges, Hu Jianwei and the three apprentices also established a deep friendship in life. Hu Jianwei will teach his disciples how to make fried buns and share Shanghai's food practices; The apprentices will take Hu Jianwei to taste authentic Tibetan food and introduce local customs. Their interaction is not only reflected in the inheritance of medical skills, but also in the bits and pieces of life.

It is reported that in the Shigatse Municipal People's Hospital, 210 local medical personnel have been paired up to help 210 local medical personnel in the form of mentoring and apprenticeship, experts leading backbones, and teams leading teams, and more than 690 advanced experience and technical achievements, including coronary intervention, cerebral angiography closure, flap transfer repair, etc., have taken root in Shigatse.
