Cultural relics condense historical memory, inherit and create the future of the city. This morning, the seminar on the high-quality development of cultural relics and the deepening construction of Shanghai Yangpu National Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Demonstration Zone was held in the Green Tile Building of Shanghai Sport University, at which the "Three-year Action Plan for the Deepening Construction of Shanghai Yangpu Life Show Belt National Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Demonstration Zone (2024-2026)" was released.
The "Three-Year Action Plan" has built a "1+3+5" work pattern in Shanghai Yangpu. That is, a main line: to implement the connotation of "high-quality" development. Three systems: enhance the integration and empowerment of "multiple fields". Based on the Fourth National Cultural Relics Survey, Yangpu will build a standardized system for precise protection, take the improvement of the efficiency of the "1+N" policy system as the traction, build a high-level activation and utilization system for cultural relics, and build a dynamic and open system of "life show belt" with the construction of cultural relics theme trails as the carrier. At the same time, through the implementation of five lists, including the connotation mining list, the key project list, the planning and protection list, the modern governance list, and the living communication list, we will continue to promote all-round mapping, all-factor protection, all-round empowerment, full-cycle management, and national participation, and promote the efficient implementation of 16 major tasks, 52 key tasks, and 24 key projects.
At the meeting, the project of centralized and continuous protection and utilization of cultural relics and buildings in Pingjiang Historical and Cultural District of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province was launched. Representatives of national cultural relics protection and utilization demonstration zones such as Haidian District of Beijing, Lushunkou District of Dalian City, Yangpu District of Shanghai, Suzhou City of Jiangsu Province, Guanghan City of Sichuan Province, Yan'an City of Shaanxi Province, as well as representatives of high-quality development promotion cases of cultural relics such as Dunhuang Academy and Chengdu Museum conducted thematic exchanges. In the special seminar, Beijing Shougang Park and Nanjing Meigang Cultural Tourism Zone exchanged and shared relevant industrial heritage protection and utilization cases, and five experts and scholars from universities and museums conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "rejuvenating the vitality of industrial heritage and creating a better future for the city".
After the meeting, the participants visited Yangpu District Library, China Modern Press and Publication Museum, and Shangsheng New Institute to learn about cultural relics protection, scientific and technological innovation, display and utilization, and talent training.
Relevant departments of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, cultural relics departments of provinces and cities where the construction units of the National Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Demonstration Zone are located, representatives of the high-quality development of cultural relics and experts and scholars in the field attended the meeting.
