In order to enrich the summer life of children of special groups in difficulty in Nanguan District, broaden children's horizons, increase knowledge, and inherit and carry forward the spirit of patriotism. On July 17, the Wushan County Archives and the Nanguan Community of Chengguan Town, Wushan County jointly launched the public welfare classroom activity of "Helping the Poor and Helping Students, and Caring for 'Children'", starting the "archive journey" of patriotism.
Under the leadership of the staff of the archives, the children visited the comprehensive exhibition hall of the archives in an orderly manner, and the commentator introduced the precious archives in the museum in detail through pictures, paragraphs of text, archival materials, and various trophies and medals, and told the story of patriotism education. In the archives pasting and restoration room, the children witnessed the "rebirth" of the damaged archives, and they were amazed again and again; In the archives storeroom, the children experienced the rotation of the archives dense rack rollers, and carefully looked at the precious archives, historical maps, honorary seals, title deeds, and so on.
Through this activity, the children not only had a deeper understanding of archival work, but also further understood the history, culture and economic development of their hometown, and stimulated their beautiful vision for the future. In the next step, the Wushan County Archives will continue to play the role of a patriotic education base, rely on the collection resources, and actively carry out various forms of patriotic education activities, tell the red story of Wushan, and spread the good voice of the times.
