In July 1996, after graduating from secondary school, Zhang Shengzhou came to work in the signal work area of the Shishiying Workshop of the Jiaozuo Workshop of Xinxiang Electric Depot. "Xiao Zhang", with a Chinese face, thick eyebrows, and an honest appearance, soon brought surprises to the work area. Once, a group of turnouts at the station were positioned "broken indicated", and if they were not dealt with in time, it would directly affect the receiving and sending trains. According to the knowledge he mastered, Zhang Shengzhou used a multimeter to test and quickly found the problem: "The indoor equipment is open, and the electricity is not sent!" "It only took him 3 minutes to troubleshoot.
These "3 minutes" brought full confidence and strength to Zhang Shengzhou, who was just starting out in the workplace.
"Faith is the beginning of all possibilities." Zhang Shengzhou liked this sentence very much. He said that if it weren't for the initial success, he wouldn't have loved this profession so much!
With the accumulation of work experience, Zhang Shengzhou is determined to become a "master" in the industry and wants to prove himself in the arena of martial arts training. But the experience of playing the field for the first time made Zhang Shengzhou realize that the road to the growth of "masters" is by no means smooth.
In June 2001, Zhang Shengzhou participated in the technical competition in Duanli for the first time. Unexpectedly, he actually read the wrong position of the terminal number of the drawing, and even the "old man" multimeter he dealt with every day also used it incorrectly. After 10 minutes, the two troubleshooting places were "completely annihilated".
Lack of experience, too little vision, not enough practice, wrong thinking...... Back in the work area, the masters helped him summarize and find out the reason.

The turnout switch machine is a key electrical equipment, and electrical workers must be proficient in its maintenance skills. Zhang Shengzhou's road to advancement starts with "eating through" the switch machine. On the basis of in-depth study of the principle of the equipment, Zhang Shengzhou disassembles and assembles the switch machine 3 times a day, and the time is gradually shortened from 20 minutes. In a business competition, he won the first place in the switch machine disassembly competition with a time of 13 minutes.
The competition promotes training, and the practice promotes drying. In the process of preparing for the training and competition at all levels, he combined with his daily work and summed up the "four firsts and four afters" of "indoor, then outdoor, first mechanical, then electrical, first start, then express, first test, and then judge", which effectively reduced the troubleshooting time after being promoted on the front line.

On July 9 this year, during the tamping construction of the turnout at Jiaozuo West Station of the Zhengtai High-speed Railway, Zhang Shengzhou and his workers were responsible for replacing the locking device outside the turnout.
"After the external locking rod of the turnout is replaced, the screws and gaskets must be carefully checked, and there must be no wrong installation or missing installation; In the process of disassembling the outer lock rod, it is necessary to cooperate with two people to avoid collision and damage. Before construction, Zhang Shengzhou repeatedly admonished.
At 0:10, the construction "skylight" order was issued. Zhang Shengzhou and his co-workers immediately went to the road, and after a while, they dismantled the locking device outside the turnout. Immediately the personnel immediately got off the road, and after the tamping vehicle carried out the tamping operation on the section, the personnel returned to the line again to start the installation work.

The high-speed rail turnout determines the direction of the EMU, and the driving device of the turnout, the switch machine, is the most important electrical equipment for Zhang Shengzhou. When inspecting the switch machine, he required that the internal deadbolt, inspection column and other parts that are not easy to inspect must be a lot, no leakage, and no fall; The contact post and contact base of the automatic opener should be "tightly gripped" like two hands to achieve complete coupling.
The value of the "turnout notch" in the switch machine is a key parameter to judge whether the turnout action is in place. The allowable error of the "turnout notch" value is ±0.5 mm for ordinary railways and 0.1 mm ±for high-speed railways. Zhang Shengzhou said that when he was working in the general railway, he could judge this value with the naked eye. "It's definitely not possible on high-speed rail, there must be more accurate and efficient detection methods." Zhang Shengzhou said solemnly.
There is responsibility in the heart, there is a problem in the eyes, and there is a method in the hand. Zhang Shengzhou led the repeated experiments, and according to the principle of feeler gauge, developed a special inspection tool for high-speed rail "turnout notch" - bow-shaped "inspection rod", the thickness of which is the maximum and minimum allowable value of "turnout notch" respectively. "Whether the value exceeds the standard, the results of the two ends are immediate." Zhang Shengzhou introduced that this gadget has nearly doubled the accuracy of "turnout notch" adjustment and verification. He also researched and created the "one-time 'gap' adjustment method", which solved the technical problems of large error in data acquisition and verification of "turnout gap" and the difficulty of standardized adjustment.

During the joint commissioning and joint test of the Zhengtai high-speed railway, a group of turnouts at Xiuwu West Station used ZYJ6 hydraulic switch machine. When installing and debugging the equipment, the construction personnel were busy all day and did not adjust it. When they were at a loss, someone recommended Zhang Shengzhou from the intervention group to them.
Zhang Shengzhou happily accepted the order. On the one hand, he docked with the equipment manufacturers for technical points, and on the other hand, he took Yang Lei to the site to study the equipment. In less than 2 hours, they completed the turnout gap adjustment and circuit commissioning. Afterwards, Zhang Shengzhou also summarized the technical characteristics of the ZYJ6 hydraulic switch machine, and took the lead in formulating a standardized process for the daily maintenance of this type of turnout.

The intervention team of the Rilan high-speed railway in the infrastructure section of the Zhengzhou East High-speed Railway found that the voltage of some track circuits fluctuated in a small range, and they immediately contacted the construction unit and equipment manufacturer personnel to inspect the site, but only got one feedback message: the outdoor equipment of the track circuit was normal.
Seeing that the fluctuation phenomenon still exists, everyone realizes that this is a hidden danger, but they can't find a solution for the time being. When he was unable to solve the problem, a phone call was made to Zhang Shengzhou.
After Zhang Shengzhou answered the phone, he immediately rushed to the scene by high-speed train. After field investigation, Zhang Shengzhou targeted the monitoring and acquisition system. He organized the manufacturer to replace the collection line, and the abnormal phenomenon disappeared. Zhang Shengzhou once again successfully solved the occasional "incurable diseases" on the spot.
