The "Miryang 44 Gang Rape Case" occurred in 2004, a group of Miryang male high school students met a 14-year-old junior high school girl living in Ulsan through communication software, they lured the girl to meet in Miryang, and used the indecent video to coerce the victim, and sexually assaulted the woman for one year, sexual violence, etc., and even the victim's sister suffered.
The case caused a sensation in South Korea, with 44 high school students almost underage, 10 prosecuted (7 of whom were detained and 3 not detained), 20 sent to the Ministry of Juvenile Reeducation, 13 were dismissed without the right to prosecute, and 1 was transferred to another agency for other crimes.
In an interview with the media 20 years later, Kim Sun-mi (Kana) recalled the beginning of the nightmare, "They said 'just go to sleep,' so I thought they were good people, but they kept forcing me to take me on sightseeing, and after my sister was taken away, they did that to me." After the incident, the other party kept calling and threatening her, telling her to go to Miyang again, otherwise she would go directly to the door, "I was afraid that my father would know, so I went to the appointment, and then the next time because it was filmed, I was afraid that the video would be passed out, so I went to the appointment again."

For 20 years, nightmares have followed the two sisters, and every time the case is discussed again, it is to cause them a second degree of harm, "I still feel that the incident is like living in hell, as long as the matter is brought out and discussed, it is very painful", netizens played justice for the two and dug up the identities of the 44 victims, and YTR, who made the video, even lied that "with the consent of the victims", but in fact, Kim Sun-mi never agreed at all.
Kim Sun-mi said, "Neither the movie nor the drama has our consent." In fact, making a similar theme made her even more painful, she said: "When I have to close the entrance door now, I make sure that it is locked more than 10 times, even before going to sleep. Especially recently, the case has become bigger again, and I feel even more painful, I obviously didn't do anything wrong, why did I do this, I feel very wronged." At the end of her sentence, she ended up in tears.

Kim Sun-mi said, "I don't remember what my dream is, my mother, my brother and my sister, who is very hard because of me, I hope they can break free from the nightmare a little bit, I hope they can be happy, this should be my dream." In the past 20 years, she has not forgotten the appearance of the 44 perpetrators, and only hopes that the wrong information will be corrected, and the full content will be broadcast on the 20th after "Want to Know the Truth", which caused repercussions on the Korean Internet.
