The five-star hotel "The Rebello" stands in the historic new city of Gaia on the Douro River in Portugal, formerly a 19th-century old warehouse with solid stone walls, it faces the old city of Porto across the river, the walls are painted with mild shades of pink and orange, without ostentatious ornate decoration, simple, ancient, timeless, full of local art, with low-key quiet luxury, and the rooftop bar overlooks the magnificent view of the other side of the Porto River, so that it has become a popular local attraction just a few months after its opening.

Lisbon architect Metro Urbe and interior designer Daniela Franceschini were responsible for the renovation, combining clean lines and local artwork with bold textured bespoke furniture and décor spaces to give the hotel a neo-industrial feel.

The seating area next to the reception hall is also a special bar, with an elegant and quaint atmosphere. Created in collaboration with local artists, the hotel includes 103 apartment-style suites and exquisite suites, studios and junior rooms, each with a kitchen, living room, balcony, and pet-friendly accommodation. Guests can dine, drink and do their own business in the spacious space with a view of Porto's tranquil and touching scenery.

The Rebello has a restaurant that reinvents traditional Portugal cuisine, two different bars and a Roman bath-style spa. Rich in earthy tones and natural textures, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the interior is filled with a sense of tranquility and soft elegance.
