*Victoria Dockside, K11 Arts and Culture District, celebrated the world debut of "100% Doraemon & FRIENDS" touring exhibition, with a 30% increase in footfall and a 60% surge in visitor sales in the first weekend of the opening week.
This summer, Victoria Dockside, K11's arts and culture district, is once again the stage for the world premiere of the mega event with the world premiere of the much-anticipated "100% Doraemon & FRIENDS" touring exhibition.
On 13 July, Doraemon and his friends landed on the Avenue of Stars and exhibited the world's tallest 12-metre-tall Doraemon inflatable sculpture, transforming the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront into a childlike fantasy world. The entire event area has rekindled the popularity of this world-famous comic book character.
In the opening weekend, K11 MUSEA, a cultural and retail landmark in the heart of Victoria Dockside, saw a 30% increase in footfall and a 60% increase in visitor sales. Sales in the F&B, fashion, sports and electronics categories increased by 4 to 50% quarter-on-quarter, while some restaurants doubled their sales quarter-on-quarter.

Victoria Dockside has always been the venue of choice for events, with world-class artworks such as giant rubber ducks and Doraemon on display, as well as a runway for historic fashion events and the world's first Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2024 menswear show.
Coinciding with Art March Hong Kong and Art Basel, this art curatorial hotspot has also become one of the main stages of Art Karnival, an annual art event in K11, showcasing masterpieces by renowned artists such as Phyllida Barlow, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and more. During the festive season, Victoria Dockside also attracts a large number of residents and tourists to watch the spectacular drone show and fireworks display.
Since its opening, a series of large-scale cultural events have been the key to driving the overall sales and customer flow growth of K11 MUSEA, with a record 40% year-on-year growth in the second half of 2023.

According to the Hong Kong Tourism Board's 2023 Visitor Analysis Report, Victoria Dockside has been selected as one of the must-visit attractions in Hong Kong for overnight visitors due to its continuous hosting of a series of large-scale cultural and arts events in the past.
The "100% Doraemon & FRIENDS" roving exhibition is organized by the creative brand AllRights Reserved (ARR) to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Doraemon creator Fujiko F. Fujio. The exhibition features the world's tallest 12-metre Doraemon inflatable sculpture in a free-to-enter outdoor area, as well as more than 30 life-size Doraemon sculptures.
The Doraemon craze is also spreading throughout K11 MUSEA, and the indoor "100% Doraemon Anime Art Gallery" will exclusively screen short animations, as well as interactive installations and reproductions of original paintings. This time, K11 MUSEA and Doraemon have co-created a pop-up store, selling a series of limited-edition merchandise and opening Hong Kong's first themed café to celebrate the summer with fans.
This iconic comic book character from global pop culture has also collaborated with 13 Hong Kong filmmakers to appear on the "100% Avenue of Fame" at Victoria Dockside as a comic figure standing sign, paying tribute to the precious and glorious film history of Hong Kong, China.
