This morning, this year's No. 3 typhoon "Gemei" was upgraded to a super typhoon, becoming the first super typhoon this year.
Yu Qun, a weather and meteorological analyst in China, said that judging from the current forecast, the path of "Gemei" after landfall is very similar to that of "Dusuri". After the landfall of Typhoon No. 5 "Doksuri" in 2023, the remnant circulation penetrated deep into the north, causing extreme rainstorms in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Mainly Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Liaoning and other places should be vigilant that typhoons may lead to heavy rainfall. However, "Gemei" will not stop in North China this time, it will run relatively fast, and the impact period of heavy rainfall will not be too long.
Specifically: Taiwan's main impact period is 24-25; Fujian, Zhejiang 25-26; Jiangxi, Anhui 26-27; Henan and Shandong on the 27th; Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin 27-28; Jilin, Liaoning 28-29.
In the face of natural disasters, you can't leave anything to chance! The public in the above-mentioned provinces are reminded to pay close attention to the typhoon dynamics and take precautions in advance!
