●—≺ Preface ≻—●
Recently, in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, hundreds of college students were looking for summer jobs in order to earn some living expenses for themselves.
What's even more bizarre is that scam companies like this have been going on for several years, and they are singled out young people who have just come out of society.
If your child is about to enter the society or is planning to find a summer job, you must remember the following routines to prevent your child from being deceived.
●—≺ Summer Vacation Jobs ≻—●
Taking advantage of the summer vacation, many college students hope to work part-time during this period to earn some living expenses for themselves, and Xiao Du is also one of them.
He saw the news of a summer job on the Internet, so he submitted his resume, and it didn't take long for him to receive a call from the other party, inviting him to go for an interview.
On July 18, Xiao Du came to a unit called "Shaanxi Xingqi Yuanfan Human Resources Co., Ltd." on the 20th floor of Mingfeng International Plaza in Xi'an City according to the address sent by the "employer".
The interview process is very simple, nothing more than going through the motions, Xiao Du easily passed the so-called "interview", but the staff told him that if he wants to go to work, he must pay a physical examination fee of 308 yuan and an insurance premium of 312 yuan.
Although Xiao Du was skeptical about this fee, some units did require a physical examination and insurance before employment, and Xiao Du was looking for a job for the first time, so he finally chose to believe it and paid a total of 620 yuan.
After paying the fee, the staff signaled Xiao Du to go back and wait for the notice, and the result was July 21 at the latest, and Xiao Du's work would be arranged at that time.
However, on the same day, Xiao Du did not wait for any news, so he sent WeChat to the interviewer. But he didn't get a reply, and anxiously he then called the phone number that invited him to go to the interview, but unfortunately there was still no answer.
Soon after, Xiao Du's mobile phone came with a prompt sound, but the content of the above reply surprised him, the other party said that he had resigned, and Xiao Du realized that something was wrong at this time.
Xiao Du suddenly remembered that many of his classmates were also looking for jobs through this company, so he immediately inquired, but he didn't expect that the experience of his classmates would be surprisingly consistent with his own.
●—≺ Downright scam ≻—●
Realizing that he had been deceived, Xiao Du and his classmates created a rights protection group, and more than 200 people joined the group in a short period of time, all of whom were deceived by the same company, and the total amount involved exceeded 120,000.
In order to get their money back, and at the same time hope that no one will be deceived again, Xiao Du and other students contacted the reporter to expose this scam company.
On July 22, the reporter followed Xiao Du and others to the "Shaanxi Xingqi Yuanfan Human Resources Co., Ltd.", at this time more than a dozen students had gathered at the scene, and they all came to refund the fees without exception.
There is a student named Xiaokang, he is only 17 years old this year, just graduated from high school, in order to earn some living expenses, he and four other classmates came to Xi'an from Huayin County, 100 kilometers away, full of expectations to enter the company to find a job.
They also learned about this company through the Internet, and according to the content of the recruitment notice, the company can arrange the work of the operator, so Xiaokang and others went to the interview.
But they waited at the scene for 6 hours, but were told by the other party that they "did not meet the requirements of the operator", asked Xiaokang and others to apply for subway security inspectors, and also signaled a few people to lie about their age, saying that they were 18 years old, and charged 598 yuan per person, and the name of the charge was still "physical examination fee" and "insurance fee".
Subsequently, the reporter followed the group of deceived students to the Guangming Road Police Station, and with the help of the police, everyone found the first male person in charge of the company.
The person in charge said that he would deal with the matter and promised to refund the "insurance premium", but for the "medical examination fee", he said that it still needs to be verified, and it will take 7 to 15 working days.
However, what happened to Xiao Du and others can only be regarded as the tip of the iceberg, this phenomenon has lasted for no less than ten years, these so-called "companies" are nothing more than taking advantage of students' lack of social experience, under the guise of arranging work to defraud students of money, students who have never been out of society are very easy to be deceived.
●—≺ Beware of job traps ≻—●
The most common pitfalls encountered by students looking for jobs are "black intermediary trap", "training loan trap" and "online order swiping trap".
The "online swiping trap" has been exposed more, which is nothing more than a gimmick of "zero investment, high return, and daily settlement" to deceive the victim's trust by returning the principal immediately after the first few swipings, and then inducing it to increase the principal investment, and after paying the money, the victim will be blacked.
Because the gimmick of the order trap is so outrageous, many students basically don't believe in "zero investment, high return", so few students will fall into this low-level trap.
The "black intermediary trap" deceives the most students, although they are all using the same routine, but each move of different companies will be different, so that students with little social experience are unable to guard against it.
I would like to tell you about my own personal experience, when I was in college in Shanghai, and in the summer of my sophomore year, my ex-girlfriend and I searched for jobs online in order to change the configuration of our computers.
Due to the lack of work experience, we all browsed through some simple jobs and ended up being attracted to a job posting for a playground worker, because the job content and daily salary written on it were relatively real and easier to believe.
Not long after I submitted my resume, the other party called me and invited me to go for an interview the next day.
The next day, my girlfriend and I boarded the bus at the Xujiahui subway station and went to the designated location, where the interview took place in an office building, and when I arrived at the company, I found that there were already many people standing in the corridor, almost all of them were young people.
I thought we would have to wait for hours with so many people in line, but the people who entered the house walked out of the house in less than a few minutes, and waited for us in less than an hour.
My girlfriend and I went in at the same time, and the "interviewer" first took out a resume form according to the process, and after filling it out, he pretended to look at it, and then began his "routine".
The other party said that his company often contacts celebrities, and the work arranged for us in the future is likely to cooperate with celebrities, and it is even possible to play against celebrities.
Later, he looked at the two of us and claimed that my girlfriend and I had very "photogenic" faces, and he had drawn a lot of cakes for us anyway, and after saying these words, the "interviewer" began to ask us for money, asking each of us to pay 500 yuan, claiming that it was clothing and makeup fees.
My girlfriend had already been brainwashed by the interviewer's words just now, but I kept an eye on it, and told the interviewer that I didn't have that much money with me, and I would pay the fee when I got home and scraped together enough money, and the interviewer signaled for us to pay quickly, claiming that "the recruitment quota is limited".
After returning to the university dormitory, I searched for the company on the Internet and found that I could really search for it, and asked netizens to ask whether the company was a scammer on "Baidu Know", and the reply was "no".
I informed my girlfriend of the news, and the next day I went to the company to pay the money, a total of 1,000 yuan for the two of us, and then added the interviewer's WeChat.
However, after the money was paid, there was no so-called clothing and makeup, and the interviewer just invited us to join a few WeChat groups, all of which were part-time groups around Shanghai.
In a sense, the interviewer really didn't lie to us, most of the jobs in the part-time group can contact the stars, but it is not what he said, but he went to the variety show recording site as a full audience, and the stars he contacted were nothing more than local station hosts.
What's even more outrageous is that the salary of the part-time staff is also low, the salary of each part-time staff is opened by the team leader, maybe the organizer gives everyone 100 yuan a day, and the team leader handles it so much, and the money that actually goes to the hands of the part-time staff is only 50 yuan, but never overestimate the conscience of some people, I asked a part-time job on the spot, and his team leader only gave 40 yuan.
The location of that part-time job was located in Baoshan District, and in order to prevent anyone from leaving halfway, the team leader took away the ID cards of all part-time employees in advance.
The recording didn't end until after 11 o'clock in the evening, the subway had long been suspended, and my girlfriend and I took a black car and spent 80 yuan to return to the dormitory.
Because it was too late, the fast-food restaurant-like restaurant was closed, and the part-time place didn't leave time for dinner, so we had to eat a barbecue at a roadside stall and order a fried mein, which cost more than 50 yuan.
After working all day, the two of them only earned a mere 100 yuan, but they spent more than 130 yuan, and they lost more than 30 yuan, so far, my girlfriend and I have never looked for part-time jobs in the group, and of course we have not asked the company to refund the fees, because the other party did arrange a job, and when working, it did contact the so-called "star" in disguise, even if it is to sue, I am afraid that I will not find evidence of this company's "fraud".
In addition to the "black intermediary trap", the "training loan trap" is also difficult to guard against, and intermediaries or employers will use "high-paying employment" as bait to lure victims to take the bait step by step.
As far as I know, most of the jobs filled in similar notices are high-paying positions such as "operation" and "design" that require related majors and work experience, and they will attach words such as "free training" and "no work experience required" to the recruitment notice.
Some job seekers will submit their resumes with the mentality of giving it a try, and it won't be long before the other person will call and invite them to the company for an interview.
When you arrive at the interview location, the interviewer will follow the process of asking for personal information, and then brag about how good the prospects of the industry are and how much money you can make each month.
When the job seeker is deeply attracted, the interviewer will say that the inexperienced person must be trained before he can take up the job, and promise to ensure that the job will be arranged after the training, but this training is not free, but to pay tens of thousands of training fees, and the training period is generally half a year.
People who can be tricked to this point are generally recent graduates, so naturally they can't come up with so much money, and the other party just hopes that job seekers don't have money!
At this point, the interviewer will say that he can help apply for a loan for training, and once the job seeker applies for the loan, he or she has completely fallen into the trap of the company.
Although the company does train job seekers, the quality of teaching is really not complimentary, if there is no relevant foundation, you will not learn much in half a year, and even if the training period is over, the company may not help arrange the work, even if the job will only be arranged to the designated company, and more than half of the monthly salary will be deducted for loan repayment.
●—≺ Summary ≻—●
The above are the common trap routines for young students looking for jobs, these black-hearted companies, without exception, are taking advantage of young people's desire to make money, first prepare a resume form that can be printed anywhere for job seekers to fill out a formality, in order to deceive trust, and then begin to draw a big pie to make job seekers have a longing, and finally take advantage of their immersion in the "dream of making a fortune" to let them pay money.
When looking for a job online, you should pay more attention to whether the location and content of the online recruitment revelation match the interview location.
Secondly, don't believe the evaluation of a company on the Internet, as long as it is not the official media speaking, the positive evaluation on the Internet may be a "water army" hired by a black company.
The most important point is not to pay any fees before entering the company, remember that you are looking for a job to earn money, there is no reason to post money, in addition, regular company interviews will be conducted at their own place of work, you can see other staff in the office when you walk in, if the place to interview is in a large office building, and there are no other employees around, then this unit is either a "bag company" or a "black intermediary".
