Recently, Fuxian Lake in Yunnan Province has reappeared in the "herring fish array", and the scene is spectacular! This is the second time this year that the photographer has photographed it, after last May.
Fuxian Lake is located in the central part of Yunnan Province, belongs to the Nanpan River system of the Pearl River Basin, about 3.4 million years ago the Himalayan orogeny left this deep blue treasure for the world, because the lake water is crystal clear, crystal clear, by the ancients called "the glazed ten thousand acres".

Fuxian Lake has "four uniques", one is a unique fish stone, two is a unique car water fishing, three is a unique herring array, and four is a copper pot to cook fish.
Among them, the herring array can be described as a natural wonder of Fuxian Lake, Fuxian Lake has the legend of "herring gathering array to worship the dragon king" since ancient times, but everyone who has seen the herring array will relish for its magnificence and mystery.
Thousands of herring fish, under the guidance of the big fish, line up in a fish formation, sometimes in a "one" shape, sometimes in a circle, like a ballet in the water.

The scientific name of herring is Yunnan barbed catfish, which often inhabits the upper reaches of rivers, with a blue-gray body and a deep back, so it is called herring by the locals.
According to local villagers, from April to June every year is the spawning and breeding period of herring, and around July is the season when the fruits on the trees ripen and fall, so there are often herring fish in groups to come to the shore of the lake to devour the fruits that fall into the water, so the "herring formation" is formed.

In recent years, the ecological and environmental protection of Fuxian Lake has been continuously increased, and the excellent water quality is conducive to the effective recovery of indigenous fish populations, creating favorable conditions for the reappearance of Fuxian Lake in the "herring array".
