Come and don't be rude! China's H-6K bomber arrived in Alaska for the first time United States "free travel"!
In the past, our air force was weak and incapable of reciprocating the favor in the way of others, so much so that US military planes often went to China's doorstep to show off their military might.
At present, the strength of our air force has been greatly improved, and although it has not yet reached or surpassed the level of the US air force, it has already had the ability to compete with one of them.
Therefore, just as US military planes often go to China's doorstep for "free travel," it has become a reality to go to the doorstep of United States for a "free trip."
On July 24, two Chinese H-6K bombers and two Tu-95 bombers from the Russia coincidentally arrived near Alaska, United States, and were intercepted by military planes sent by the North American Joint Air Defense Command.
At that time, the four Chinese and Russia bombers were flying normally along the coast of the Aleutian Islands and did not enter United States airspace. However, it was indicated that the Air Defense Command sent several United States and Canada warplanes to intercept them, preventing them from entering United States sovereign airspace through Alaska's ADIZ.
In fact, the United States people thought too much, although the four bombers were flying in the air defense identification zone at that time, they did not enter the sovereign airspace of the United States, and they had no right to interfere. Besides, the United States themselves say that these bombers flying in international airspace are not a threat.
Of course, after all, it is the air defense identification zone, and they want to track and monitor, which is also their right, we just need to fly normally, and travel freely, don't United States people themselves often do this?
We know that from the beginning of the Soviet era to the present in Russia, the Tu-95 Bear bomber and the Tu-160 White Swan long-range bomber have often cruised along Alaska, and United States has often sent fighters to accompany or intercept.
This is a commonplace thing for the United States and Russia.
But for the first time in history, the H-6 bombers of the Chinese Air Force appeared off the coast of Alaska.
The model of the fighter plane intercepted by the US military this time has not been disclosed, but it is speculated that it should be F22. Previously, when the Russia Tu-95 bomber flew into the airspace near United States, it was basically the F22 that came forward to "greet", and this time should be no exception.
If it is an F22, it should also be the first time that the H-6K bomber has faced the F22 of the US military.
In the latest information released by Russia, F16 and F35 fighters should also be involved in tracking and interception operations. It can be seen that the Chinese and Russian bombers jointly cruised to the doorstep of the United States, and the United States people did not dare to be careless.
According to the straight-line distance from China to Alaska, the H-6K can reach it with a range of up to 8,000 kilometers. But considering that there is a need to return, if you take off from China, you will need to refuel in the air.
However, according to the cooperation method between China and Russia, our H-6 should have flown to Russia first, and then took off from Kamchatka to carry out the mission together with Russia's Tu-95 bombers at the local military base.
As for the accompanying military equipment, it was supposed to be carried out by the Y-20 large transport aircraft.
In this regard, the Russia Ministry of Defense has also confirmed that the Tu-95MS bombers of the Russia Aerospace Forces and the H-6K of the Chinese Air Force conducted a joint air patrol over the Chukchi Sea, the Bering Sea and the northern waters of the Pacific Ocean in Russia.
Therefore, it is certain that the appearance of the Chinese Air Force's H-6K near Alaska in United States is one of the contents of this joint air patrol operation.
According to the information released by the Russia side, on this cruise, in addition to these 4 bombers, Russia also dispatched Su-30CM and Su-35S fighters to escort the operation. During the Tu-95, in-flight refueling was also carried out.
In this case, it is logical. Generally, bombers are dispatched to be escorted by fighters, otherwise they are simply targets.
As the most advanced medium and long-range bomber currently in service in China, the H-6K is known as the god of war. Although we are developing the H-20 strategic bomber, I don't know how many times more advanced than the H-6K. But before the H-20 was put into service, the H-6K was still the leader of the Chinese Air Force in maintaining strategic deterrence.
And with the continuous technological progress of China's aviation industry, the H-6K has also used the domestic heart WS-18, with a maximum range of 8,000 kilometers and a combat radius of 3,500 kilometers, and can also carry Changjian 20 cruise missiles.
Everyone should note that the H-6K of this cruise, judging from the photos, should also have an electronic warfare pod hung. In this case, it is very likely that an electronic countermeasure exercise was also carried out during the cruise. At the current level of electronic warfare in China, this is interesting.
The 055 large destroyer of the Chinese Navy, which has previously carried out several free trips off the coast of Alaska, has become accustomed to this United States people believe that the actions of the Chinese warships are in accordance with the rules of free travel, so there is no threat to the United States.
For the Chinese Air Force, this is the first time to go around the door of the United States, which can also be understood as going to recognize the door. In the future, it is very likely that it will become the norm just like our warships often go around the west coast of United States.
Naturally, in the future, the United States will slowly get used to it, and they will also acquiesce to the fact that the bombers of the Chinese Air Force go around the doorstep of the United States, which also conforms to the rules of free travel in the air, and there is no threat to the United States.
Since there is no threat, when our bombers go to the doorstep of United States in the future, we should stop sending fighters to track and intercept them, how much fuel it will take.
