An Qixuan
The women's individual qualifying round of archery for the Paris Olympics kicked off on the Place des Invalides in Paris, which was the first competition of the Chinese sports delegation at the Paris Olympics.
Yang Xiaolei, Li Jiaman, and An Qixuan appeared, ranking 3rd, 9th, and 26th respectively.
An Qixuan was born in an ordinary family in Sanping Farm, the 12th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. When she was a student at the No. 10 Primary School in Changji City, she was exposed to archery at the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture Amateur Sports School, which is across the wall from the school.
Since stepping into the field of archery, An Qixuan has grown at an astonishing rate and become an indispensable member of the Chinese archery team, and her career has been full of challenges and glory.
In the following years, she has repeatedly achieved great results in major competitions at home and abroad, and has stood on the podium many times.
The two girls who came out of the disappointment and trough have comprehensively improved their psychological quality and ability to resist pressure. This has also made their performance in international competitions very stable in the past two years.
For the Chinese archery team, the most promising event to hit the gold medal is the women's team.
