Artist Profile

Zhang Ping (also known as Yaxi), a native of Santai County, Sichuan Province, is a director of the Chinese National Painters Association, a member of the Xinjiang Artists Association, a member of the Xinjiang Calligraphers Association, a director of the Xinjiang Landscape Painting Research Association, a special painter of the People's Daily, a special painter of the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a former president of the Turpan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a professional painter of the Xinjiang Painting Academy, the deputy director of the Qunyi Museum of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and a painter of the figure painting creation studio of the advanced research class of the China Artists Association.

His works were selected for the "Hukou Praise of the Yellow River" National Chinese Painting Nomination Exhibition, the third prize of the International Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, the Excellence Award of the "First Creation Advanced Research Class of the China Artists Association to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Long March and the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China", the Gold Award of the First Stars of Xinjiang, the "Second National Line Drawing Exhibition", and the "Green Pure Land Paradise Prairie The 6th Western China Land and Chinese Painting Oil Painting Exhibition".
