The lines in the space are similar to the stitches on the fabric, the stitches precisely divide the fabric into several pieces, and the continuous interspersing of lines in the space also forms the basic outline of the interior of the space. Let the two-dimensional space be extended to the three-dimensional space. From this point on, the space has thickness, depth, layering, and transition.

WoodoStudio has designed the Shanghai-based studio for womenswear designer brand LINGYILI. The concept of the project was extracted from the brand's philosophy, which focused on "the origin of the cut and the fabric", and we brought the stitching on the fabric into a three-dimensional space.

In line with the brand's philosophy of "following the laws of nature", we also wanted the frame in the space to be natural, and chose the same color frame and floor, as if it were growing from the ground, rather than deliberately. Similarly, the props in the space are all framed by or around the frame to generate blocks. Instead of using solid walls to divide the space, we choose to use "transparent walls" and "movable walls" to divide each functional area, such as using curtains to easily divide the main functional space, and soft partitions make the flow of the space more flexible and open.

In terms of the choice of materials, the frame of the entire space is made of spruce wood with natural scars, and the props are made of willow eucalyptus wood, which has a brilliant texture itself. Almost all of the wood is made in its natural color, and the combination and collision of the two woods make the space visually soft and comfortable. In terms of function, taking into account the characteristics of the fashion design studio, we have set up a large area of inspiration wall, which combines hole board and felt board, so that designers can record flash inspiration at any time. In the multi-functional area, a practical 1.8m*1.8m square table is specially designed, and the opening in the table can be used as a window to view the fabric stored under the tabletop, and can also be used as a hole for plant growth.

In the whole space design, we strive to accurately and skillfully express the concept and the concept conveyed by the brand in every part and every detail of the space. Hopefully, the space is not only functional, but also exciting.
